Andy Roberts is the Director of RF Engineering at RSRF, where he leads the technical design and commissioning of in-building wireless systems across a wide range of commercial, healthcare, and higher education environments. With over 8 years of dedicated RF engineering experience, Andy brings both the technical depth and field expertise required to deliver complex DAS deployments in demanding real-world settings.
His project portfolio includes DAS design and commissioning for the GlaxoSmithKline campus in Research Triangle Park, UNC Greensboro, and multiple Cone Health hospital facilities. Most recently, he designed a C-band overlay at Scott Stadium on the University of Virginia campus, a technically sophisticated project requiring precise RF engineering to serve a high-density venue environment.
Before focusing on in-building wireless, Andy built a varied technical foundation. He spent several years as an RF Engineer at Longent and prior to that worked as an Electrical Engineer at Ultra Electronics, where he contributed to defense electronics programs including the MK710 torpedo test set, handling schematic design, parts specification, vendor coordination, and formal design reviews.
Andy holds a BS in Electrical Engineering with a concentration in Digital Signal Processing from North Carolina State University.
